Hey guys, it's not so bad out here.
Life is remarkably simple in paradise. No session timeouts, no service unavailables.
The food's only ok without the Pho Freaks and Banh Mi communities, but the virgins are fly.
Who am I kidding, I miss my Fly Chicks for the Geeky Guy!

If not what's the dealio?
Posted by: Joe Kwak on February 24, 2004 06:00 PMThe BANH BAO community was also deleted, despite it NOT being owned by you. Can I get a big WTF here?
Posted by: Huong on February 24, 2004 06:17 PMYou're sorely missed. Orkut is not the same without you. So where will you be?
Posted by: Faré on February 26, 2004 03:30 PMI just logged onto orkut & found that you & J to the K are gone! Then, I find a community dedicated to bringing you back when I did a search. Strange how things work. This in itself has answered my question of why you create all those communities ... yes... complicated. No wonder you didn't want to explain it & instead just said "gift to the internet".
Posted by: Rosa on February 27, 2004 11:43 AMYou must be the one writing the thesis in regards to orkut or somehow involved? Cause & effect?
Posted by: Rosa on February 27, 2004 12:07 PMWhatever the the case may be, that thesis would be a very interesting read.
Posted by: Rosa on February 27, 2004 12:13 PMSo if someone figures out what's actually going on in orkut, do they get their questions answered, or do they just become a part of the statistics?
Posted by: Rosa on February 27, 2004 12:42 PMI miss you. Your communities always made me laugh.
Posted by: Allie on February 27, 2004 04:37 PMHe was the very soul of the party, one of the most interesting and active users here. (And I was just put in jail because of sending out an invitation to a friend).
So how can a system punish its users like that for using it? I can't understand it.
Please tell Orkut Admin what you think about this:

It may happen to you too for no known reason.
Posted by: Amayita on February 28, 2004 10:43 AMWe miss you too, man.
Posted by: Joanna on February 28, 2004 01:25 PMBig bunch of stupid is what that is, Big bunch of stupid. You had like some of the best posts in the metrosexual community. Very hilarious at times, Your presence is missed greatly.
Farewell my friend.
John
I miss you Huy. :(
Your communities were the best; now that they're gone, I have interest in Orkut... quite disappointing, considering that I was really looking forward to this site as a tremendous improvement over others like it. Quite a few of my friends -- including my roomate -- have been deleted; I don't get it.
Would you ever consider coming back to us?
<3
Your Goth Goddess :)
I was going to set up a Huy Zing Fan Club at Orkut asking for your coming back, but I found this community:

Description:
Huy Zing, Orkut pioneer and creator of hundreds of communities, has mysteriously been deleted.

We love you Huy, we miss you!!!
I ditto the sentiments of everyone here. We miss you much, Huy!
And to the folks at Orkut:
Father Father Father help us
Send some guidance from above
Cause people got me got me questioning
Where is the love?
Stop pretending you're a martyr - you broke the rules and now you have to deal with it. Big deal.
Posted by: Kevin on February 29, 2004 06:37 PMMiss you, Huy! Also, I'm bummed that most of my fave communities are gone with you. *sad face*
Posted by: Lorelei on February 29, 2004 11:49 PMThe group "Come Back Huy Zing" was deleted. It was quickly replaced, but it is still another arbitrary act on the part of the orkut masters.
Posted by: Thomas on March 1, 2004 12:02 AMFree Huy Zing! Fight the power!
Posted by: Jasmine on March 1, 2004 10:31 AMThe second incarnation of the "Come Back Huy Zing" community has also been deleted.
Posted by: Thomas on March 1, 2004 03:55 PMDamn. I miss my g-spot expeditions. Thought of them as much as mine as I did of yours...
Posted by: Metis on March 4, 2004 01:13 PMHuy,
Given the way Orkut is currently managed I don't think you'll get an explanation or apology anytime soon. Any chance of you coming back to Orkut despite that?
Posted by: Thomas on March 7, 2004 10:33 PMWell, hey, it looks like you're really back:
http://www.orkut.com/CommMsgs.aspx?cmm=1324&tid=220&pmx=7&pno=5
I sure hope so... it just isn't the same without you.
Was there ever any word of apology from Orkut? Are you gonna take it slower this time, not get too attached, make the love burn lower, or are you gonna ignite the sky again? Are you gonna be a martyr? Will they Zing you again?
These are the mysteries. Take your seats, people, and watch the madman take on The Man.
